Continuum - The IMS Project>

PV 30th of June - from 7pm at V22
Show opens: 1st of July - 3rd of August

The 3rd dimension has disappeared.

Euclidian Space is a myth.

Time and Space are one continuum.

For its third public apparition, The IMS Project presents an inverted reality. Using some materials from its last residency at Guest Projects as a starting point, the group takes a step further in their research. Constantly challenging the notions of their collective identity, a new format in their use of space and displays unfolds.
At V22, The IMS Project adds another layer to reality. Condensed and expanded become synonymous. The here and now are illusions.

The show investigates and transforms the space, rewinds time, bringing another amplitude to the room. The metamorphosed material from the past residency spreads in V22. Four inverted columns, identical to the original ones that compose the room, are used as platforms for the artworks.

The IMS Project is composed of artists and scientists:
Johann Arens, Martin Clarke,Ignacio Gallo, Rishi Nalin Kumar, Peter Lewis, Daniel Lichtman, JL Murtaugh, Isaac Muñoz, Miguel Pacheco, Alicja Rogalska, Liliana Sanchez, Chooc Ly Tan, Christopher Kulendran Thomas, Jessica Tsang, and Jill Van Epps.
